Things You Need To Know

Rates
All rates quoted are "per night" and based on two people sharing. If you only book for one night, an additional charge may apply. The rates on this website are provided as a guide, and may vary depending on the time of year and level of demand. Minimum booking periods may apply. When you make a booking, the rate you are quoted at that time is fixed providing a deposit is paid when booking and we will gladly take credit cards on the phone. You must be over 21 years of age to stay with us if you are not accompanied by a parent. A bond may be requested when you arrive and this must be paid before you can enter the park.

If you cancel your booking less than 30 days before you were due to arrive, or you depart early, we cannot make any refund to you. We recommend that you take out travel and cancellation insurance.

Deposit on Advanced Bookings
The cost of one night's accommodation is required as a deposit for most  bookings.

Christmas Period Bookings
If part or all of your booking is during the Christmas or holiday period (26 December to 14 January inclusive, minimum booking periods may apply) and is made before 31 October then the deposit amount will be the cost of one week's accommodation with full payment due by October 31. If the booking is made after 31 October, payment in full will be required to secure your booking. If you cancel a booking at least 30 days before you were due to arrive, a refund will be made to you, less a 3% processing fee.

You must be over 21 years of age to stay with us if you are not accompanied by a parent.
Bus service available for a addional cost to bus company, staff must be advised on booking if required.

Check In
Check-in times are usually from 2-6pm, NSW time. Check-ins outside these times may be available if you make arrangements with us before arriving. Note that full payment is required before you can enter the Park.

Facilities
The cost of your accommodation includes access to our extensive facilities, including our swimming pool, playgrounds, recreation room and gymnasium. A security deposit may be required for the use of some equipment. Some facilities may be unavailable from time to time.

Visitors
To ensure the safety and comfort of all, visitors must register at reception and pay a fee before entering the park.

Other
Scooters, Skateboards, Rollerskates, Rollerblades and alike like are not permitted in the park. Push bikes are provided a helmet is worn. 

Dogs Policy

This policy has been formulated to assist in providing a cohesive environment for all at Ballina Lakeside. 
With this aim the following points are the conditions under which we may accept a dog:

• Some breeds not accepted.
• Dogs are not permitted in cabins at Lakeside with the exception of the Spa Villa's 199 & 200, strict pre bookings are essential. 
• Dogs are allowed only at specific camp sites as stated below and only when pre booked, 1800 888 268.
• The dog must be less than 15 kilograms.
• Only one dog per site, (some variations may apply) 1800 888 268
• The dog to be kept on a leash at all times.
• Dog droppings to be scooped up immediately and placed in a plastic bag to be disposed of at bin station.
• Subject to availability. No sites for dogs will be available during Christmas, Easter, NSW or QLD school holidays.
• The dog must be on one of the designated caravan or tent sites. These are sites 239 to 244 and D1 to D8
• No dogs to be walked anywhere within the Park.
• Barking or aggressive behaviour will not be accepted.
• The park may end your stay at any time if the park so determines.
• A $50 cash bond is payable on arrival along with an agreement form which must be signed. At departure we will refund the full bond provided the agreement was adhered to. The park will determine this at its absolute discretion.
• Dogs are not to be taken across sealed road within the park as marked on your map.
