News from Ballina Lakeside

Holiday House

The newest addition to the cabins is the “Holiday House” the House can accommodate 12 people. The main bedroom has a king bed for those who really like to spread out. These beds can also be separated to have guests sleeping on 2 king singles. Now that’s the life!
The outdoor dining area is well furnished with BBQ, and seating for the many guests that will take the opportunity to stay together.
The House is well equipped with microwave, dishwasher as well as a 42” tv and comfortable lounge room seating and Austar.

Aussie Triples

Aussie Triples will be visiting the park again from Friday 19th August 2011. These motor-cyclists have a real passion for motor bikes pre 1974. Staff members are excited to welcome the riders back again this year.

Glee Club

Marc has taken the opportunity to conduct his singing group each Monday night in the function room at Ballina Lakeside. The group consists of male and female singer from age 12 through to 68. The singers come along each Monday and sing with Marc whose arrangements and harmonies are fantastic to hear.

Dog Friendly Cabins

Ballina Lakeside has introduced dog friendly cabin accommodation. The Deluxe spa Villas are now able to accommodate not only the family but the family pet as well. Of course dogs are welcome on ensuite and powered sites in our dog friendly section on the Northern end of the park.

Babes Raid

Never to be outdone by their motor cycling male counterparts, the Babes Raid is once again returning to Ballina Lakeside Holiday Park on the weekend of the 9th and 10th of September. The roar of the bikes departing for the Saturday rally was thunderous and who couldn’t like hearing the sound of a Harley. The ladies will then present their bikes on the Saturday morning for judging in the Show ‘n Shine section of the rally.

Family Reunions

Many family groups have visited Ballina Lakeside Holiday Park for reunions while others have planned to meet in Ballina and enjoy catching up before Christmas. The Hub Villa is an ideal venue to accommodate 32 family members in 4 new cabins.

 


 



Brand New Waterfront En-suites

A Brand new additional en-suite bathroom facility has been installed in the camping area on the Northern corner of the park. These water side en-suite bathrooms are designed for campers with tents, camper trailers or caravans. This is a fully grassed area with water views. For those who bring their little dog you now have access to your own en-suite bathroom. (dogs by arrangement only) 

 

The Hub

The Hub is a group of four specially designed, two bedroom / two bathroom cottages built around a private under outdoor barbeque.

Each cabin offers above average comfort for up to 8 people so The Hub is designed for Family Reunions, business meetings and common interest groups The Hub is let in conjunction with the huge air conditioned Lakeside Function Room to facilitate group activities if required. Additional cabins near the Hub area are available for larger groups.
